That's like asking which is better - New Coke or Coke classic. The simple fact is that they started using high fructose corn syrup instead of Sugar in 1985 in the United States because it was cheaper. - If you want the "real" taste of traditional coke you need to buy some that is bottled in Mexico - where they still use cane sugar. It tastes MUCH better and is only sold in glass. and -- especially on Taco Tuesday - is my drink of choice.

They also switched from natural vanilla to artificial. I've seen some more conspiracy brained individuals claim that the new coke debacle was an intentional screw up to hide the change of flavor. Although I doubt the mixture of wine, cocaine, and caffeine that survived losing 2 of it's 3 main ingredients really needs false flags to endure.
