Is the Pathfinder lore much different from D&D?

As a sample: There's an entirely different main pantheon of deities with a detailed history for just them and the creation of Golarion alone, with Pharasma, Goddess of life, birth, prophecy, was the first deity and the sole survivor of the destruction of the previous universe, creating much of the other main pantheon and working with them to create the various planes of the universe; there's a secret society of creatures from another reality called Aboleth that live in the depths of the ocean and are attributed with the creation of human empires and controlling them from the shadows, only for them to try destroying all life on the planet when humans started finding out about them by pulling an asteroid to collide with the planet; there's numerous well detailed empires and kingdoms with well created timelines and historical events that are fleshed out, like an endless rivalry between two nations, one ruled by a lich and the other a wizard, and a magical dead zone between them where a city-state is full of people who armed themselves with firearms to combat the magical and undead monstrosities from the two nations. It's just a fun world full of lore, fully recommend people get into it.

What's one thing that would instantly make your day better? (Money isn't allowed!!!)

Unrealistic answer: My partner's chronic illnesses spontaneously go away.
Realistic answer: The apple bread I plan on making turning out good.

i read it a while ago (forgotten most stuff), and I think i dropped it a bit after this arc, so I'm probably going to pick it back up after this season's over. Anything to avoid a year long cliffhanger if the season finale is also a cliffhanger

Yep, Pathfinder has managed to stay my favorite TTRPG for over a decade now, don't see it changing any time soon. I'll definitely let everyone know how the apple bread turns out :3

power fantasy bro-y monster fighting anime. It's pretty good for what it is, but if you don't like the "MC becomes the strongest ever in episode 2 and the whole series is about showing how cool and good they are" trope you won't like it.

That said, it's probably the best of the bunch within that genre, and I like it

Never heard of it. what's it about?

It's THE anime of the season if you would ask me.
Its a fantasy anime where the main protagonist starts as a weakling E-Rank Hunter and climbs through an unfortunate series of events to an S-Rank Hunter.
I guess everything else comes along with this, like unique characters etc.
And it plays in Korea, not Japan, which is kinda unique. At least for my knowlegde of anime.
Thats the short version, the long one would be you watching the first few episodes
