I would exchange it without any problems.

Around here, these days the heat is terrible, arriving in the late afternoon, summer storms and some flooding. At night, a sauna to sleep.

This is the side that tropical countries don't show.

Where I live is wild swings between summer and winter, 40degC summers and -20degC winters.
I have also spent time in the tropics for months at a time, I can tell you the tropics are better (Malaysia, Indonesia for reference).

It's a reliable heat, basically anything you plant (and some things you don't) just grows, all year long. It's like 34degC midday, 29degC midnight, reliably all year long.
Physical labor outside is tough agreed (mainly the high humidity is what gets you, sweating won't cool you down), but unless you have tried the same in +40degC dry heat or -20dec winter: It's not that bad.
Winter especially sucks, climbing industrial cat ladders when your fingers can barely move and the rungs are coated in ice, in the dark. Bad times tbh

First chance I get I am moving to the tropics, love it.
