but i can see the need for the rule
too many channels become flooded with them and causes people to miss the actual conversations

say no to GIF overload

plus then i would want to get into a GIF war and i would fail
i dont even know how to make one

I've never made a gif in my life, but I attach them to like 90% of my posts because it makes conversation more enjoyable. It turns chatting into a game because I have to search for a fitting animation to accompany each reply.
