Yeah, the point isn't whether they're blood related, it's that the relationship is taboo!

Right, it just adds a little bit of spice. Though, I can appreciate a story where characters don't know they're related, finding out, then having to reconcile the taboo of their attraction. It's one of the things that I think Panacea did pretty well, despite the game kinda being a letdown towards the end.
