so apparently the new dragon age isn't half bad, combat is mid but fun. everything else is... weird. characters talking like they are in the real world and not a fantasy world. non binary stuff and "don't call me a man" or something like that. it doesn't feel like it belongs to the world. maybe if they added like a demon character fused together and they call themselves "them" and they don't know what to feel. or if this was a cyberpunk game where people can actually change their bodies or whatever.

I've seen games and scripts where trans was used in a really great way. but these writers can't write characters so it feels forced and highly out of place. if this game wasn't named dragon age it would have died like concord I'm telling you...

I wanted to like this character, on one hand "they" are having a hard time and there's a lot of interesting character growth. but on the other hand, this character argues against others believes, calls people by whatever they want. basically this character is an asshole, which really ruins the entire experience. I just feel like whoever wrote the character inserted themselves or copy paste extreme people from social media.

the script is just a disservice to trans people while also pissing off every dragon age fan. it's a shame for such a great IP.
