The critic people still have two valid points in my opinion: about Nea suicide that happen in some path (which is realistic but that's not something most people want to see in a game) and about the fact that her story line is a lot more developed and interesting than those of others characters, which seems bland in comparison.

I guess most of the people expected something other. I mean after parental love, (what was absolutely mind blowing) Most were like me and expected something like that.
Of course it is a completely other game and it shows the creativity of the dev, that it is something else like the game before.

Yeah. Parental love was one of the first I ever "played." Love that one. And even though it's over, I've gone back to it. Sentimental reasons. The artwork has evolved into some really attractive characters in Apartment 69.

I have to go back to watching Initial D. I stopped at Third Stage, I think.

I'm switching between playing the new update of Apartment 69 (i'm in love with Nea again), doing some fucked up AI art and looking at the thread here.

I got bummed out because the update took a lot of time and had very few scenes and even fewer sexual content.

I heard the dev take even more time than usual between update because he was a bit bullied on some forums (like fuck95) because of the trans character and her story-line.

Who cares about what idiots think? Any Dev that make to trans, NTR and other "controversial" content I think should already expect some kind of hate, but he should make the game for those who like it, not minding those morons.

I really like it. The art is beautiful, the story is well written, the dev knows his stuff around trans questions too. I'm not trans myself, obviously, so I don't know much about these questions, but that scene rubbed me the wrong way. We can treat Nea really well, defend her from the bullies, discuss with her father, let he live in our apartment, but if we refuse the blowjob she kills herself? Even when people like someone romantically, I've seen them refusing sexual things, so I found that a little too much (But i didn't play that route, so I maybe wrong about what happen).
And also, didn't Nea say she only took puberty blockers? Do they also make breasts grow? Because they're biggers than my wife's. Hahaha

So I popped over there to see what the kerfuffle is and there is legit one dude getting clowned on by the others cuz he wanted to try suing the dev for "forcing me to play trans content that isn't promoted and is unavoidable".

Apparently he said it would be avoidable, but you are still required to live with her and witness her suicide if you try to avoid it.
However, he also always said that Nea was the main LI, so they should've expected that it wouldn't be completely unavoidable.
