Screens in car are fine as long all they do is giving you some kind of information.

Touchscreen à la Tesla are just wrong. They are just a distraction that make even a simple task like adjusting the Air conditioning dangerous.

Exactly I don't a fucking tablet in my car. A small display that tells me radio and backup camera display is all I want, everything else BUTTONS

I just wish my van's Apple CarPlay worked more reliably, feels like it's a 50/50 chance on whether my phone will connect to it properly

Plus it gets embarrassing, I have owned my car for 7 years and every time an infrequent passenger rides with me they discover things that damn touch screen can do that I never knew existed.
