Probably heresy to some, but it's one of those songs - UKJ Cat's in the Cradle- that I like more than the original. Mostly, because I was exposed to it more in the 90's and 2000's. Another being Johnny Cash's cover of NIN's Hurt.

My first time hearing Tom Sawyer was through Mindless Self Indulgence (MSI). One of my fav MSI songs (they were my fav band for many years).
