Was I the only one waiting for a big reveal that the childhood friend was the one who hit him off the bridge in the first place? Would explain why at first she wanted to pretend not to know him. Listen, several high end sports cars can have electric engines, as long as they are still tuned to be Sports Cars.
I'd be fine with an electric mustang as long as it's a mustang. Porsche and BMW make really nice electric sports cars, but that suv abomination needs to be deleted.

I found a road, and some abandoned cars, hijacked one, then drove off.
Picked up someone standing by the road, the closer I got, the more familiar the silhouette got.
Of course it was @Bonki! We drove on.

He started asking all different kinds of questions, I couldn't answer...
"Where are the others?", "Didn't you travel with them?", "Guwnknime?".
After some time, he understood, I couldn't find answers so he stopped.
When we reached his distination, he got out, turned to me, and said "Good luck, Slumbaby!", then he walked off.

Also, in other news The Goonies 2 is apparently greenlit with theOG cast! Even if the idea has been stomping around for over 25 years.

Probably more like 35. The kids from that are in their 50s, some 60s, by now. The villains 70s+ or dead (the "mom" villain IIRC was the woman from Throw Momma From the Train and died quite a while back.)
