There is a free demo of Factorio, which is a game that scratches much the same itch.

I am a (software) engineer though, so I love those types of games.

I guess that makes sense. So does that mean that moving everything to P4 effectively killed it? What if it were brought down to P3 or even P2? It's more accesable to members of the site while still being enough of a hassle that someone couldn't get to it easily without just paying for it.

Then, the options were to leave the thread there, or spent the bazillion hours going post by post to see if the post is:

2-Edited to remove what needs to go.
3-Deleted entirely.
