Just a quick announcement about my personal life, if you don't care you can move along, nothing witty in here.

Just wanted to say, I lost my grandpa the night to yesterday, and used most of yesterday to try and process that.
It didn't come as a shock, as we were all kinda expecting it at some point, because the doctors had given him some months left.
I'm okay, and yes I was very close to him, maybe not in the last couple of years, because he had sarted to forget us.
But it still hurts to lose him.

I think it makes more sense to ban violence than sexuality. Real life violence hurt people. Real life sexuality is most of the time a pleasure. Problem is also some people assume there is a link between video games and real-world actions, even if it has never been seriously demonstrated. Most people are able to differentiate between game and reality and those who can't have mental problems.

Sadly, one of the puritanicals I was arguing with had a (sadly) catchy comeback:
"The violence is fake. The nudity is real."

I clapped back... but... I probably failed. I said:
"Ok. And the movie cupcake is real too. Does that mean I don't need to do groceries now since I've seen one in the movies? You know, just cuz I see it in a movie or show doesn't mean it's real, or affects the real world!"

Man, I suck at comebacks. I know that person is wrong... but being wordy... I can't give it the OOMPH of their false but catchy and concise slogan.

But, if you think about it, most actors have torrid lives anyway and are fucking each other behind the scenes, is it really worth it to get a double in the first place?
And, as an aside, new hollywood movies have worst plots that some "I'm the plumber and am here to check your pipes" porn movies out there.
