I should look at them bit more to understand this Genre so I can't comment about this style. I should look up some Swedish and Spain Horror.

Let the Right In is a vampire movie, one of the best I watched. It's very well done. Subtle and beautiful. The development of the relationship between the main characters is superb. I loved that film. Maybe as Japanese you can appreciate the atmosphere and tempo of the movie. Regarding Thesis is more a thriller than an horror movie. The director reached international notoriety after that movie and even directed some Hollywood ones. But for me, that's is his opera prima and the best from his filmography. Regarding Rob Zombie, he is a big American horror fan. His movies are kind of a tribute to the genre. At least it's how I perceive him. Maybe you lack of the context of his movies and that's why you don't like them?

I watched some Turkish movies, but non of them were horror, mostly the opposite, lmao. One is Honey (director Semih Kaplanoğlu) a movie that won the Golden Bear in the Berlin International Film Festival, I think also Milk or Egg, I don't remember well, and some others that I don't remember anymore. Turkish cinema has a crazy age when happened the Turkishploitation. There are Turkish versions of most of the famous American films.

But I'm more fan of Korean movies than Turkish ones: 3-Iron, Save the Green Planet, I'm a Cyborg but It's OK, Old Boy, etc. There are still some notable movies like Memories of Murder or Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance, that I have not yet watched.

I just think all reactions are part of humor, unless of course someone replies in a negative way.

Sankaku needs a free account to have access to the good stuff , but its still one of the best sites despite that since they aren't as strict as other image boards. It also has useful filtering options.

Doesn't sankaku have a subscription service or something? Or am I thinking of a different site?

Ok, I never hear about "Let the Right In" or :Thesis" so, guess they can be add to my list of movies to watch.
Well, not everyone enjoy his style. Yes, he was/is popular and well loved by many but then again, it depends on they style you enjoy. I just never liked them much but each to their own I guess. I dont like gore and movies with too much gore and those things. not usually at least.

I dont know about Turkey movies at all, but I was recomended this one horror that is supposed to be one of best they nake but I never seen anything so cant say any more unless I try to remember and find the title

I agree, Korea make some really decent movies, some horror, some thriller and such. They have come very far since their journey and getting more and more popular. Lim Ji-Yeon is one of the popular Korea actresses, like in "The Treacherous." There are some decent scenes there of sexual content and its pretty decent move all together.

haha no. Not Pingu.. I seen both American and Japanese versions and I like them all, so, the Japanese is the best, but still its all good movies and shows different style. Worth to watch for sure.
Definitely not for kids to watch lol. I think most kids would be too scared.

They do, but thats optional for additional features like
-no ads (i mean, adblockers exist so..),
-some ai stuff like ai companions (no idea why an image board needs that),
-premium content (which doesn't mean locked content actually, it's just for more advanced search options and free username changes),
-unlimited access (again, no content is locked behind something, this is just to have no access rate limit, but not needed since you aren't really limited much with a free account to begin with from my experience)

In the end you still get access to everything people upload there without needing an annoying subscription

The only noteworthy limitation imo that i came across is that I'm limited to 2 tags at most when searching content which never was an issue for me personally, but might be for others.
