I was thinking about many places in Africa where that's a same man in power for decades, he's obviously a dictator, but pretend to be a president in a "presidential system".

Ah, i am much less aware of the nations and their names in africa, but it does not suprise me. But most importantly wanna fuck?

Ah, yes, the old and completely sane way in which a conversation changes topic.

"The only statistics you can trust are those you falsified yourself." Winston Churchill
"Statistics is the art of lying by the means of figures." Wilhelm Stekel
"I can prove anything by statistics except the truth" George Canning

What I mean with that? That may be true in the absolute values, but the question does it happening now more that before? Watch some testimonies of their cases and you will see it's pretty fucked up what they explain. Are these cases been used politically? Yes, of course, almost anything is about politics. There are more cases now than before, I don't know, but something tells me that's very possible. Personally, I don't trust any information, from one side or the other. Don't make me wrong, I'm not against transition and the state helping it, I'm just pointing that it's a complex theme.

I already said that the genre of who does the politics doesn't matter, but their ideas and agendas. But it's a fact the women take part in the decision

That's a poor argument. In the last 100 years society has changed drastically in all the aspects, we can't barely compare 1924 with 2024, least say thousands of years ago (at least in the developed countries, of course). The social changes that we have suffered with the Age of the Information, the globalization and the supremacy of capitalism are immense. Even God is dead!

"God is dead, God remains dead, and we have killed him" Friedrich Nietzsche

(At least metaphorically XD)

Women and gender minority are not the same collective. IMO, you should mix them together. Of course a trans person who is visibly trans will suffer prejudices. It would be stupid for any person to deny it.
But regarding women, are you talking about what exactly? About the gender pay gap? Glass ceiling? Sectoral segregation? Legal equality? They are rhetorical questions, I don't expect an answer. You will find arguments from both sides supporting or denying them. The oversimplification of a problem, rarely gets close to the real answer.

That's really a conspiracy way to see things.

It's possible to do good stats: sociologists and statisticians often do excellent work and most of the time they put their methodology in the study, so you can verify if it's a valid one. I have myself study sociology and history, so i know a lot about those things. Plus, that's a lot easier to just interpret the number in the way you like than to fake them, politicians do it all the time.

That's completely dumb to just say "there is arguments from both side". I care about the quality of the arguments, i care about if the claims can be verify, i care about proofs. There is lot of data proving women are still discriminated in most part of their life and that gender minorities are too, which should make them objective allies, i'm pretty sure you're just blinded by privilege.

It's a fact that women have a lot less political and economical power than men all around the word. How many women are president or prime minister of their countries? How many women lead big corporations? There is really few and that's objective and easy to verify reality. You are totally exaggerating the magnitude of the changes. We are precisely in a time of reaction, where conservatives try to reverse some of the gains women make in the past decades. And God is dead? Religious fanaticism is on the contrary really high again.

I don't know if it's a problem of being misinformed or just badly interpreting the facts, you have a way that mix ideology, beliefs and extreme relativism, but the way you see the world is totally disconnected from reality.

I have a very simplistic politic about this:
You do you as long as it doesn't affect me or affect me in a positive way. In any other case, we have a problem.

I don't get why people care so much about what others do with their life in their free time if it has 0 effect on their life.
Much like internet denizens that complained about gay marriage because it "devalued" marriage for straight people.
