Well, the Pig Daddy known as @mime, openned the Shakin' Bacon thread on May 6 - it was a bastion for the refugees... Those deeply affected by the Pig War... As for your point... Well... Then the question moves from "Why Pigs?" to "Why Dover?". And that, my friend, is a Question even us experts can't explain.
