The art is great. The characters are engaging. The story has humor and you can tell a lot of thought went into it. The sandbox is time intensive however.
There is one quest that requires you to bounce back and forth between a school classroom and your bedroom (about 16 mouse clicks) several times over multiple days. There are dozens of quests and most are achievable but sometimes end in failure if you don't, for example, have the required number of strength points. So then you need to go back and figure out where you went wrong. Almost wish there was a cheat mode. Also: I never figured out what all the money and sugar cubes are for.
So ... lots of fun, entertaining, and mentally challenging but can get frustrating and tedious.
