i found spice and wolf endearing. and i agree with the opening - sometimes the light hearted stuff can be a joy to watch.Love the opening and closing to Spice and Wolf, wish we got another season instead of a remake.

Yes and they even went back to the negative to do a 1080P scan but by now that scan is ancient. Its also the best we will ever get because they are not going to do a rescan. As for Universe they just slapped the DVD 480 master on blu and didn't even bother to upscale its SD and no english dub. Its Universal they in Japan have the rights. Geneon/Universal.Did pioneer produce it for blu-ray? I only ever had the videotape.
Edit: damn sho nuff, holy crap it's expensive
That's a shame about universe.Yes and they even went back to the negative to do a 1080P scan but by now that scan is ancient. i liked Eureka Seven. But Eureka Seven AO - what the hell was that?. FMA and OMG are great though. One of my favorites has to be Fullmetal alchemist braderhood, eureka, oh my goodness
It sucks but its not unheard of for studios in Japan to just use old component, or composite video masters, instead of paying to remaster from film. I'm looking at you Toei. That's a shame about universe.
Yeah Eureka Seven AO was horrible it would be better if they didn't mede iti liked Eureka Seven. But Eureka Seven AO - what the hell was that?. FMA and OMG are great though.
i see you also have good taste. damn i remember watching the 3rd rebuild in an obscure cinema waaaay back. the 4th was only like last year or so as well.I was a fan of Gainax, the last thing i remember actually being good was Gurren Lagann. Was a fan of Evangelion, and of course FLCL until the remakes/new seasons without Studio Gainax. As for Studio Khora i still haven't sat down and watched the 4th rebuild Blu. Its never gonna top End of Evangelion.
yeah remakes are another rabit hole.Khara i mean, and i dislike remakes in a general sense. The only one i ever liked was Yamato 2199.
Bebop is amazing and love the intro, but gotta hand it to hand it to Samurai Champloo and Battlecrybebop is still probably the all time classic, hard to beat that atmosphere and those characters
Oni ChichiI figured everyone else is asking fun and interesting questions, consider me on the bandwagon!
