Yosuga no sora 🤣

those who know know

Probably something old school like Space Battleship Yamato. Or Dirty Pair. The newest would be Cowboy Bebop or Outlaw Star.

Been watching anime since it was americanized and brought here, the early efforts were welcome at the time, but people like Carl Macek today are considered butchers. Yeah i saw Robotech and Star Blazers. And Transformers and Thundercats may have been Japanese animated but they aren't anime.
PREACH! People who think that's anime think Avatar is anime.... What?

SGt. Frog and One Piece are 2 animes that I would be extremely depressed to have vanish... always watch them both but I don't think anime has ever had impacted the games I've played.

Overolord, Death Note, AoT, and more
I started to rewatch gundam seed and destiny cause the new gundam freedom movie.

It really was before that I wasn't really watching any Gundam I kinda stopped because I lost track of the story lines. So when I came across it it dragged me back in. I haven't seen the new Gundam yet not sure if I will. I know Netflix is making a movie using Unreal engine 5 so I definitely give that a watch.
Oh shit, hadn't heard of that. Will have to give it a shot. Netflix actually seems to be doing something lately... My hopes are not high after Yu Yu Hakusho live action though.

It's a good show, I think even objectively boruto is pretty good. Though I am a sucker for the classic's. insert neckbeard meme:

I agree, though I can't say I even know where the anime is at anymore. I mostly just follow people on youtube that talk about the new manga to stay informed. lol

Yugioh zexal
I know that one is often looked down upon with tcg fans because of yuma's voice, which I didn't mind, and because he isn't a gary stue and actually loses at the start
But, at least up until arc v, which I didn't finish, it has the best character development and an actual coherent story because it has an overarching plot which is executed way better than in gx, which also technically has an overarching plot
Also zexal is when the anime start to more closely resemble the competitive scene which is neat and probably helped beginners at the time

I like how Overlord is like "here is some insane violence and lizard sex" "would you like some more?" OK! We got you fam, and then the next season it gets even better. How did you feel about AOT ending if you've seen it?

Someone mentioned Mobile Suit Gundam , i suppose that and Macross are up there for me. But i also like stuff like the original Urusei Yatsura not the remake.

Also Lupin the 3rd, i really love Studio Ghibli as well. Have so many of these on laserdisc.

Started with Dragonball Z and Outlaw Star, moved on to Trigun and Yu Yu Hakusho. Then never stopped watching it, generally into slice of life now as it generally calm and happy as everything in the world is crazy.

What are you talking about? Yu Yu Hakusho hasn't had anything new released since the 90s ;)

STAY STRONG, don't give into the temptation to watch it again. You don't realize how many hours it saps until you are halfway in :ROFLMAO:

I'm Very normie when it comes to anime Attack on Titan is my favorite, sure the ending is a little rushed, but c'mon is not Game of Thrones level bad that ruins the show even on rewatch there's the childhood classics, Naruto, Dragon Ball (RIP Akira) Saint Seiya (this one is not as popular on north america for some reason but in my country it could rival Dragon Ball in popularity)
As if it got me interested in this content, well there's a show called Oreimo (the full translated title is my little sister can't be this cute) I think that gave me an incest fetish lol (one of the first incest comics was an oreimo doujinshi)
I was watching Oshi no Ko last year I my mind was like "this is pretty cool but would be cooler if the twins fucked"

I hear that, who hasn't watched konosuba in times of distress.

Demon Slayer was my first and last anime. I watched around 15 episodes before I got randomly spoiled while scrolling through instagram. Literally the first time I had ever seen an anime related post on Instagram and it was a spoiler. What a cruel world we live in.

Yup they're definitely trying to get into the anime scene whether its through their originals or adaptions but yeah with Netflix you never know what you're getting they might botch it which unfortunately is more often then not or it might be good.
