Both of them, some still images are really hot

Since only a smaller portion of the creators actually knows how to properly animate using keyframes and graphs, I'd rather stick to some tasteful stills. No animation is worse than a poor animation.

Stills. I use a potato as a computer an animations (except in rare occasions) make my poor toaster whine in agony.

I prefer animated over still images. But if there are many still images for a single scene, I'm fine with that too.
