If the animations are quality and I can skip them or move past quickly if I'm not into it. But then you have the occasional bad, on the screen for how long it's going to be there ones that are just like yep, sure glad this is here. Bonus points if you need to grind through them.

I personally enjoy animations far more than still images but that doesn't mean i don't enjoy a nice image. It takes time to make those just as it does the animation and a lot of time the sill images tend to be of better quality simply due to the fact that they require less time which i think is a fair trade off. None the less i enjoy animations and hope to see more in up coming games.

I will take well done images over clipping, slow moving, repetitive animations any day. That being said, when animation are done well, they are a fantastic addition.
