discussion Animated Poses or Still Images

[Teaspoon]

Do y'all prefer a set of lewd animations that you hit continue when you're done looking at them? Or would you rather have still images that you click through and have the characters dirty talk into the climax?

[ukalias]

A mix of the two would be the best of both worlds haha

If the story is good, I think whether it has animations or not is irrelevant. I've played great games and they didn't have any animation. For exemple Good Girl Gone Bad.

And animations don't prevent the dirty talk at the same time. I have noticed in some games that it seems to be the case, and I am not sure why.

Maybe I've just been playing those games then, cause I always noticed that the animation will begin after they're done talking, then start talking again after it's over.

depends on the animation and image, if is chopi animation beter to have stills

Images are for dialogue, animations are for action

[Arclight]

Depends on the game and how well things are done.
Akaburs Witch Trainer had animation for the sprites and still images for the smut, and it did very well.
Meantime, there's dozens of games that try to be fully animated and fail miserably.

I prefer still images. Animations are usually just not that great in quality and take the devs a long time to create and render. I'd prefer that much more in plot and images than animation.

[Looveer29]

A mix of the two 100%

[SusPelican]

Depends on the animations. It's more hilarious/horror-inducing than arousing seeing a dude skewer a girl like a kebab using his cock.

I've seen some really bad ones.

both can be done well, open to both

[KinKollector]

Almost always prefer animated poses, doesn't have to be much animation either. I think Nekopara does a good job with the idle animation of their characters.

When animation is done well it can't be beat. When done poorly it makes you wish for still images!

stills
idle animations trigger my inner t-rex

H-scenes should be animated. Nothing else matters.

Good animation > Good stills > Bad stills > Bad animation.

[spermoeshka]

better to mix them
