Overview:
Your journey begins in the small village of Dunbarrow, a surprisingly prosperous settlement nestled within the unforgiving, swampy lands of the Weeping Marches.
You are introduced to this grim realm through the eyes of Elara, a little fiery-haired girl shunned by the villagers. Forced to live on the fringes of the woods, she becomes privy to the darkness and twisted hearts of the people around her. Many winters pass, but her solitary existence in the valley remains unchanged... until a fateful encounter with a hooded young boy alters the trajectory of her life forever.
What begins as a grim tale of an outcast’s survival shifts into an unconventional love story, a romance deeply steeped in dark fantasy and carnal debauchery.
At its heart, this is a Netorase narrative. As you guide the pair onward, you will choose their adventures and shape their journey.
The paths you take will not be linear. There will be choices to be made, real consequences, and true to the nature of the project, there will be sharing... lots of sharing. Yet, you hold the quill to this story; such encounters are entirely of your choosing. You get to shape their bond differently if you so wish.
You will decide exactly how they navigate the corrupt world around them. Furthermore, the ripples of your decisions extend outward. The choices you make shall also dictate the fate and influence the stories of the other souls you encounter along the way, for better or worse.
