In this build, you can see the game's framework; it has a little bit of everything: a city map with just one location (for now), and an inventory with a small amount of loot (for now). The random number generator and the messages displayed on the screen—I know it doesn't look very impressive, but I had to tinker with these thing.

My name is Croqs, and I'm the creator of the visual novel “After the Worst”
I'm the only one working on this project right now; the first build is almost ready—all that's left is to translate it into English. Game development is going surprisingly well; the only thing I struggle with from time to time is the visuals and sprites. I generate almost all of my images using Comfy UI, Sora, and ChatGPT. I think that, over time, I’ll get the hang of creating my characters in Comfy and will be able to treat you to some great scenes :3
Since my game is new and I want to attract as many people as possible, it will be free, and all posts will be publicly available for a while.
