First of all, thanks for taking a try out of this little project into consideration. I am honored and completely noob at everything- rendering, designing, writing, VFX, coding even CS and Valorant but I wanted to make an adult game where you are not just digging the hole mindlessly and with Affexon here I'm getting that chance to explore and learn many new things and with the 1st version I am hoping that the things I am learning are meeting your standards. I am still learning so critics are welcome, even a little tip about improvement can help someone like me tremendously. Thank You.

Too much of a memory hog to genuinely play. while all the little popups are a neat effect, and the graphics look great, something about it needs some serious tweaks. shouldn't be having "out of memory" issues with a ren'py game.

Too much of a memory hog to genuinely play. while all the little popups are a neat effect, and the graphics look great, something about it needs some serious tweaks. shouldn't be having "out of memory" issues with a ren'py game.

That shouldn't happen with a simple Ren'py VN. Have you seen if it connects to the Internet? There have been VN infested with malware recently. They usually run cryptomining using the player's PC.

its entirely possible, but it didn't seem to be, and scans are coming up fine, though I've since removed it entirely. virustotal didn't seem to see anything either. So I've honestly got no clue beyond "maybe it was just REAAAALLY badly designed."

It's a known issue that's been discussed over in the F.95 thread. The dev has supposedly fixed it for 0.3c (or whatever the final release ends up being), so I guess we'll see if that's actually the case.

Seemed to be an issue with images/videos staying in memory for some reason. That happens most often when the dev uses "show" instead of "scene" to display images/videos (and forgetting to use "hide" on them, meaning everything just ends up layered over each other), but the dev was using plenty of "scene"s so not sure what was going wrong. Might've been a result of the way videos were being played which I've never seen a dev use before ($ media.playAnimation).

Heads up, v0.3d had an early public release over at the '95, and I've already updated my mod for it. That should (hopefully) take care of some of the performance issues people have experienced.
