Does the new system change anything for existing member+ users? I hope it won't lead to spamming by new users with useless replies like what happened before in the past.

From what it seems it is largely just a log in log out system where some non spam looking messages may count.

But the amount they need is still gonna lead to spam messages but of a different kind.

Nothing should change for existing member+ people.

Haha, seriously. The struggle grind never seems to take a day off either. You keep thinking you're finally getting somewhere, and then life throws another little side quest at you.

But I guess that's part of the grind. One day we'll look back and wonder how we somehow managed to get through all of it.

Or just turns people away from the site entirely. Found a game I was interested in, made an account, and suddenly had no access to the thread the game was posted in. Now I'm not even sure if I care enough to grind out access.

What is effective score?

The sum of all the other scores. Essentially, you need at least 100 posting, 75 reading, 50 trust, and 7 age score to qualify. But between those 4 scores, you also need a total of 500 to qualify. Realistically, I think the main two blockers are age and trust, not score. By the time you get enough coins to purchase Members+, I think you should have done enough posting and reading to get the effective score you need. So the only two factors you can't really control are trust and age. Trust is purposefully obscured, so we don't know what actions can increase it. So if you somehow lose trust, and get below that 50 threshold, there's not much you can do except ask an admin for help. As for age, it's a hard 7 day limit, and you can't exactly cheat that.
