Man, I just checked Saddog's patreon and he still has 46 paying members without a post since 2021. I loved the Tyrant too but that's just weird behavior.

As many have said 'Midlife Crisis' NEEDS to return, though at this point I would just be happy to know that Nef is alright.
The reasons for 'My New Neighbors' being abandoned were sad (IRL bad things). Again, I hope the Dev is alright. Thankfully there are a couple games that are using it for inspiration so while we probably will never see it 'Complete' we may get a good successor.
Oh, there was also 'View of Family'. As much as I wish it would be completed, I can understand why it won't (the Dev had some serious issue with their eyes).
So many good games abandoned, it's sad that for some we don't know the condition of the Devs. Then again there is 'Daddy's Home' Where we got a VERY good intro/Demo and then NOTHING. As much as I want to see it continue, there is a part of me that is just so irritated about the tease that I want to forget it exists (grr.. who am I kidding I WANT the game to continue).
Just some thoughts.

The Red Room by Alishia. It's been abandoned and resurrected like six times now and I'd kill for more content.

I would say mainly depends on how long / far they are in the project.
Early on and still introducing characters, abandoned is perfectly fine as there is no expectation or idea of "the end" anyways.
Ones that are close to the end or there is a decent idea of a way of how it could end, I'd be fine with it being rushed. However, I would prefer it to be a decently thought out rushed vs just "they all fucked, the end". I wonder if the story could work with it, if just leaving it as a open ending where they could follow up to finish down the line if they ever wanted to that would be great as well.
