Summertime Saga is technically not abandoned, but it's been so long into the supposed tech upgrades that it almost feels like it.

Yea. I had to cancel my Patreon support, was quickly becoming the most expensive game I'd never received a completed version of. It's a great game, no doubt. Just not sure what the hold-up is.

Oh, is Early Love officially abandoned? Or just it's been so long it might as well be?

Well I think they're not remaking the whole thing, but might just add some content of their own towards the end to give it an end it long deserves, as it appeared from one of their posts. But I'm just guessing. I mean, they've done their own games entirely remastered, but it could be stretch to say that they'd do the same with something they mean to pay tribute to.

Has there been anything since the first release where he announced he would pick it up?

For me it's gotta be Ecchi Sensei, really mid and really buggy but man do I love the main family/girls. Sadly it's definetly not coming back
