Big Brother. Every time without fail, Dark Silver just abandons Big Brother and Glamour when he attempted to continue big brother into it.

Why is there an infinite amount of bad brother games? The game is so ass

Thats no joke. That game is murdered, not abandoned.

I think about it more like the porn game equivalent of Weekend at Bernie's. It died and now they are just puppeting its corpse around so it looks alive.

Money or Morals. Had a lot of potential, but the dev had some family problems that seemed to kill all his motivation. The wave of censorship that's been happening didn't help either

god, i loved this one so much. didn't know it was abandoned til I read just now. what a shame.

Meh, I blame both HBomb and SPurple.
HBomb was clearly absolutely check out of the project, but couldn't let go of the massive income. The progress was glacial, on "programming" stream he did anything except program and the only reason it felt that some progress was still being made was because art did keep getting added to the game, but that was the thing HBomb was not responsible for.

Of course it was a dirty move of SPurple to retract his assets, but if HBomb had wanted to continue he could have done so. There must have been hordes of artists bristling at the bit for a chance to work on such a famous, well-funded game.

It was clear his team management skills were nonexistent (just to be clear, so are mine, but that's why I don't work in a team), and that actionscript is a shitty language to program a maintainable game in. I 100% believe SPurple that if he had left his assets in HBomb would have milked Patreon money for basically forever.

Not sure if it counts as abandoned. The developer is milking it for what is worth and more, though.
