While not quite as good as Petal Among Thorns, it is still great and Bliss's ass is beyond bliss.

Fantastic followup to Petal, and took the story from a self contained little bit of exploration into a much more fleshed out story. And Suzi is absolutely delightful .

Did you just stop checking on it at all after Lockheart had a minor breakdown (over concerns that their source of income would be nuked by hypocritical prudes)? He made a statement about stopping development* on February 29, and May 8th (barely more than a week later), he announced that he was continuing it. And 10 days after that, he committed to finishing it even if Patreon nukes his account (made easier by splitting his second game to a Legally Distinct "separate studio" (with him as the sole employee at both , plus having a decent sized subscribestar account already).




*on Patreon, even when he first made the announcement, I noticed fairly careful wording that would not prevent him from continuing on Subscribestar

Moon wasn't on my radar - there was no announcement for it in the Bliss or Petal threads I followed elsewhere, so I didn't know to watch it. All I had was the panic announcement in the Bliss thread and nothing about the Moon. Not even sure if it was on the Bliss OP over there at the time.

Not going to lie, the new plot threads got a little crazy, and I feel like the wholesome nature of Petal Among Thorns has been a bit tainted too. Feels like we went from this beautiful cabin moment to just pure sex and weird sci-fi.

Don't get me wrong, the quality is still top notch and it was still fun, but I for one miss what Petal Among Thorns had. It was wholesome, funny, and grounded.

Interested to see how it all wraps up.
