Lockhart writes on his Patreon that he will complete the Rose Garden trilogy to the end, no matter what.
Lockhart: "However, I have a very good plan for the future. I'm focusing this year on finishing Over the Moon even if I have to work on it for free and distribute it on pirate sites. They are not taking this away from me, or us. This is happening. Fuck 'em!"

reading this thread was a rollercoaster, first i was disappointed discovering the development was stopped after this game but you gave me back some hope with your post

There is a 3rd one called Over the Moon it does seem the Dev was going to abandon it but decided they may just go ahead and complete it, LCs page still show Abandoned at this time.

They released chapter 2 of the Over the Moon just this week, it just hasn't been leaked yet so the actual thread of the game is still showing abandoned based on the post from the 29th. Once it is available (Leaked or made free) the actual thread for it will update and remove the abandoned tag from my understanding.

This game's got cracking graphics, but the issue is it hardly ever gets updated, if at all.
