I personally can't decide, each have their pros. With 2dcg games, i pick them if i find the art good or appealing, with 3dcg i think is harder for most games to stand out from each other in looks so i focus more on their story to see if I should get them

There's a lot of standard models used in 3dcg that make games look overly similar. There's probably a higher barrier to entry for 2dcg, but sometimes the art is considerably better in my opinion.

2D games to have more variety on girls, 3D games especially Daz ones seems to be a huge overlap on girls with people just using basic models. So I guess it depends on the software. But in the end it comes down to the story for me.

Both have their pros and cons, but for me is like what i like in the moment, more fantasy or cartoon 2dcg, and for most realistic 3dcg, but above all, the more importan is the quality and the plot c:

I play both, dont really have a preference, but overall 2DCG is less uncanny and more immersive in a way. Doesnt make sense maybe but like its a drawing so you tolerate some stuff that would seem weird if it was completely 3DCG. Similar to how you can tell that something is made by AI, theres no obvious thing but you can see it's just off.
