    I like it whenever the hostile characters end up having a good relationship with the protagonist at some point. Basically the enemy to friends trope.

    2d and cartoonish. I really love cartoonish games. There are some really good 3d ones though. But I find 2d stuff stands out more for me.

    If I can enjoy some oneshot manga there should be no reason why I can't enjoy a short story type VN too. It all depends on the writing quality and the scope the devs are trying to go for. Obviously though things are more likely to be fleshed out in a longer story.

    I've seen some. Not a fan. I feel like the story gets too limited based on the clips they use. It's immersion breaking and it's super clear they rarely ever fit the actual game. At that point i'd just play something else.
