    Why not develop the two together... alternating releases (2-3 months apart) -- totally different stories that protect you (as creator) from writersblock.

Some people are just assholes, and getting some fame just make it show more... -- that being said : high profile games also attracts assholes (players) that just give bad shit to even good game developpers...
