I'm excited to share a pre-alpha version of my Persona 5 visual novel. This version is pretty short and mainly focuses on dialogues, choices, screen transitions, cut-ins, and sound effects. It’s just a little taste of what’s to come!

I'm really not into Koikatsu VNs but i'll definitely keep an eye on this one for later.
 
hope you also add characters from the squeal games too.
 
I'm happy this site's allowing Goose's games. Hopefully it'll help with the decreased traffic I'm sure he's been seeing since a certain other site decided to play games. v0.1.5.1's up public on his itch
 
Just reported the OP with the newest update. I was going to put the links in this comment as well, but I think that might technically be breaking a rule since - that's right lads - this update merits the thread getting moved over into Plus. If you're reading this before the upload team does their thing and you REALLY don't want to wait, the links are on the dev's discord, in the "patched-release" channel.

ETA: now anybody want to be a hero and leak the Royal (Patched) version and the cheat menu patch for the P4 game? ;p

i was about to ask why this was in Plus. Nothing from the previews indicates anything lol.

I mean, the dev is trying to keep it on the down-low so they don't lose their Patreon, as we all know devs tend to get more exposure and therefore more supporters and therefore more money there than on Subscribestar alone, so you kind of have to read between the lines AND know the source material well enough to know what you're looking for, but...

Now I'm not sure exactly how the line is drawn here, maybe the tag should be hebe instead of loli, but either way, this is enough to be pretty darn sure the thread is never getting reinstated on the other site, y'know?

Played it and can confirm there's a scene with the loli, so yeah
 
Q: what does ppl who know nothing about Persona miss out on? How enjoyable is the story if you have not played any of the Persona games, and has no plans to do so?

I usually don't play parody games since I seldom know the org material, esp if the org materal is manga/anime, or JRPG's. The graphics in the OP looks pretty nice though, not like the HS or Koikatsu stuff I've seen before, feels a lot more "hand drawn" in a good way. And after quick checking I can see that it seems pretty close to the org Persona graphics.

As someone that cares little about Persona and is only vaguely familiar with the characters/story, the Persona 4 parody was very enjoyable. I haven't played this one yet but its likely pretty good too, and there's a noticeable jump in quality. Way better than 99% of other games that use Koikatsu models lol.
