The first alpha version of the prologue is scheduled for June 1st. The link will be posted here.
The alpha version, will be identical to the original game in terms of dialogue and story. The characters are quite different, and everything has been redone.
The first version includes the opening scene with Lori, the introduction scene with the landlady, the scene at the agency's waiting room, the scene with the mother, the scene with Sasha, and the complete photo shoot with Marie.

This version will be a demo so you can evaluate my work and decide whether it’s worth continuing. Saves will not be compatible with version 0.1, which is scheduled to be released 30 days later for those who wish to support my work, and 60 days later for everyone for free.

Everything will be explained, and links will be provided once the first demo is released.

Dark Games is remaking this game with the original developer's assets and permission. You may want to read this thread, at least the first couple of posts.

What's the point of writing in a topic you haven't even tried to read? You didn't even read the title of the thread, which says it's a remake.

Honestly, if you don't accept other opinions, you shouldn't participate in the forum... I would really like this and other games to return, but the reasons that led to their abandonment or cancellation remain, but the way things are going I'm not so optimistic, just look at the updates and news... which aren't happening. If this and other games from the former developer return, I'll be in the front row applauding standing up.

I think I get your point? You are saying that you don't think DG will remake this game and continue with the remake? Because it comes across as you not realizing this game is being remade, and instead it comes across as you talking about the original developer and the original game. This thread is about Dark Games and his remake.

And as DG just said yesterday, he is releasing his alpha version of the remake in about 12 days. So we have that to look forward to, I would think, Then, as I imagine it will be well received, he will continue to develop and continue where the original developer stopped (but I suppose this at least isn't confirmed just yet).

Anyway, we will have to wait and see, but I have reasons to be optimistic.

I'm not questioning or criticizing developer A or B, I'm trying to say that... the reasons that led K to abandon his games still prevail on the platforms, in censorship, in false hypocrisy, in the persecution of followers, in internet regulation... well, I'll end here and keep rooting for DG to succeed and delight us with his work.

Fantastic news DG! I can not wait to play it. I know you put in a lot of time and effort into it and I know it'll be great.

Yes, censorship still exists and will continue to do so. But, there are ways around that. I am very sure DG would not have asked to take over the game from the original dev and try to make it his own work if he did not have some initial plan in mind.

As he said he is going to post what he's done June 1 and based on feedback and such he will evaluate the path forward. I know for a fact people are going to love his work and I am choosing to focus on the positive aspects of what can come out of it as opposed to the negative ones.
