Site Suggestions / Changes / Reverts

Literally nothing. There was never any P6 content.

We have greatly reduced the layers. It's just these:
  • Public - All site members can access this.
  • Games+/Members+ - Only site members with Members+ rank can access this.
  • VIP - Only site members with Prestige ranks (any of them) can access this.
Thanks for clearing that up! Good job!

The site has AI, just not the same AI that it used to have.
That's what I meant. Bringing back the AI the site used to have.

The site has AI, just not the same AI that it used to have. For example, long ago, the site allowed younger-looking characters to be in public threads as long as the images were entirely SFW without even a hint of sexuality in them.

That's no longer allowed anywhere on the site.

That's what I meant. Bringing back the AI the site used to have.

So much AI art has been removed. We want it back. This was like, the only site that allowed realistic AI images, which made it special. Then that was taken away and now only cartoon stuff can be shown, which makes us no different from ATF. Obviously we have a lot of very talented artists working in the non-realistic space, but I prefer realistic stuff and I'm not the only one. We've lost so many artists and so much art due to various freakouts and purges by the site owner. If some stability, continuity and permissiveness returned to the site, myself and some others who have sworn off posting for now might actually come back and start posting again. Obviously more controversial stuff would have to be hidden from the white knights of the internet somehow so we could enjoy our hobby in peace. But without the good stuff, and with nearly all the (former) loli-game devs running scared nowadays, we are nothing but a second-rate alternative to F95 and/or ATF. :poop:

Exactly. Who gets turned on by cartoons?

Remove any and all restrictions banning any type of content that is fictional.
Regardless if it 'looks' real ..regardless if its a recreation of a real life celebrity .. ITS NOT REAL, so remove the ban.
I dont like AI ...but i will defend ones right to create it ..loot at it ..and otherwise enjoy it regardless if I an 'offended' by the topic its showing. Just make sure its in its own section and can be otherwise filtered out.

Also, don't remove a game, animation ..picture because the author requested it. Face the fact this site like many others is effectively a pirate site, embrace it and dont pussy foot around.

Adding an Engine prefix for Godot would be nice.

Tag ontology would be great for the reasons discussed (some people care about the distinction between biological incest vs stepcest, others don't; ontology would avoid those needless arguments).

It would be great to have the site available via a Tor onion service, so that people accessing the site over Tor can avoid wasting exit relay bandwidth.

And yes, +1 for bringing back realistic AI images.

Yeah, sorry but bringing back photorealistic/deepfake AI that’s hard to tell apart from actual CSAM would slap a huge target on this site. Plus, some users wanting to remove all the barriers to the Games+ section makes it feel like some of you actually want the site taken down.I know a lot of you are gonna hate me for this, but I don’t wanna go to jail over some AI deepfakes of the LazyTown girl — and I don’t want the site shut down or the admins going to jail either.

That said, the new “Fund a Game” option is really cool though. Hope it takes off and becomes a major spot for new games

I get around, and you're right that this is the only site that uses the coin system. RW had a barrier that was activity based. I think you needed some posts, some reactions, and possibly some reputation given by other users to earn their VIP and Elite ranks for example. I know FH had an Active User rank or something like that. It was also based on activity and reactions from others as well. ATF and other sites have similar barriers.

A few posts (starting at 10, then 15) and a few likes aren't really what I'd call an access restriction or even a hurdle; Spending at most half an hour and a little effort to prove you’re not a bot is a breeze, and it doesn’t require any extra system to make it even easier for less active users to access the content they want that the site has to offer.

The user preference settings are another option that has already proven successful on other sites.

As for the VIP section on RW, I can't really comment on that; I’m a member there too, but I haven’t come across it yet.
As a new or unknown user, I would naturally wonder how one can get others to help them earn the reputation points needed to gain access to this area.
That sounds more like nepotism and seems to be reserved only for insiders, and I don't think it's a good system for helping people get started in a new community.

I would be against introducing a barrier like this one on our website.

It's not a good system, but I don't think the others are either. I also don't think I have the authority to remove the coin system either.

But...

We’ve heard this fairy tale about “stepping back from day-to-day operations” before - and I’m sure it wasn’t the first time back then, and it won’t be the last time this time around.

@Guz89 had the task last time that you now have to take on; and he didn’t stay at the helm of that sinking ship for long, and we all remember all too well how that journey ended - at least those of us who were on board back then.
As for the story, or rather the tall tale, surrounding “Lord Drakkon,” I won’t even begin to talk about it.

As I've said many times before, we've been going around in circles for years now, and if things continue this way, we'll never reach the goal, no matter how you define it or how high or low you set it.

I feel like a lot of people are being unnecessarily rude about this, just because you know you won't be kicked or banned doesn't mean you gotta be an a-hole even if you are tired of all the site reworks. That being said I like the idea of making the plus content hard to see, however I also would like a way for lurkers to gain coin, if the plus/ realistic ai content is locked behind a large number of coins I understand that. However, most of us users aren't here to be social, maybe a daily bonus for checking in and a few coins for liking threads or something would probably be enough. Thank you for everything y'all are doing.

Edit: Just a note I don't care about the AI stuff, but it seems like a lot of ppl are butt hurt over it, to the point of being very rude.

P6? I only had P5. I wonder what I missed.

P6, also known as “Bug Finder”, merely granted access to new features on the website, but these were nothing more than a test version of the “Latest Updates” page.
That was all there was to it, and in any case, it became obsolete shortly thereafter, even though it was incredibly expensive.

The only thing left of it is this badge; whether it was worth the time and effort to earn it is up to each person to decide.

🤔
I wish the site wouldn't hide content under so many layers. If you are going to add a 'pay to fap' option, please just one payment. I haven't been checking the site this year, so please excuse me if I'm wrong about this.

That’s exactly the rationale behind all the different ranks.
It’s supposed to be fun to achieve them all; think “gamification”.
However, a game only really makes sense if you actually enjoy playing it - and not if you’re forced to participate and it’s clear from the start that you can’t win, or that there’s nothing to win that’s worth spending your time on, or if the prize is later revoked or becomes worthless.

All of you clowns clamoring for photorealistic AI are not living in reality. No serious legal advisor considers AI-generated content speech in the way anything made by an actual human is speech. Especially if any of the admins live in Europe or some cucked Oceania country, who the fuck wants to get a knock on their door over fucking AI bullshit? Start your own AI site and risk your ass if you want that shit so badly.

Not adding ai realism back, not removing the coin system, but after I get back on Monday I’ll be doing major changes to how the site functions and unlocks.

Most people that tell why they don't use this site or left, tell me they got tired/annoyed of the the site constant begging for money and it feels like this is the main goal of the site.

Money will come the bigger the community is and that should be the focus, and trying to keep creators instead of constant ignoring them or put them at the end of the priorities, pretty much everything I asked that would make me share stuff more easily here was ignored, while AI content takes priority over everything.

Also all forced threads are only about how the site fuck up something or that they need more money, when there's gonna be a forced thread or announcement for the community event or something that would make people stay here and not the opposite?

You're not gonna lock us out, and then charge $5 or $10 to get an unlock code to get back in are you?

Since I don't live in Australia, there is no problem with generated pictures at alll.
More and more countries change how they act about that or get stricter about their acting.
Under Section 63 of the Criminal Justice and Immigration Act 2008, UK law prohibits possession of a "prohibited image of a child" and the statute explicitly covers drawn, computer-generated, and animated images where no real person was involved in their creation. The law has no requirement that a real child exist or be harmed.

i vote that everything below a certain age (say ******* as a suggestion) be against the rules
that's not a secret code, count the *
I am counting, one two three four five six seven...
So... G R A N D M A ?
That's a bit high for a hurdle, don't you think? :p

A teeny tiny thing: reactions. Consider giving reactions some love - maybe even make new ones part of the Shop.
In the past all the reactions before the (y) were only available if bought in the shop. That's why there are so many doubles.
But after the update to the newer forum software they were made free for all.

You know this one, for example:

Infomative_32.png
aka helpful
Tried to push that one in the past, but at that point all new reactions would go as purchasable items in the shop only, and because I didn't want it to be an premium reaction, I made it an either-free-or-not-at-all type of request.

Couple it with a reward, and you’ll see that more people will be willing to help those who need it.
People who help usually get positive reactions, that is already some sort of reward.
Also, how to control that? Just giving that reaction is worth more? Then people will just use that one to push each other.

The same goes for the report function - reward those who use it to report problems.
Bad idea, never reward reporting stuff, it will make people report every little thing and stuff that isn't even report-worthy.
Yes, mods have the last word if a report needs to act on, but it will still flood their inbox with needless stuff.

I'd like to trim it down to the basics and add a few that we're clearly missing like that one you're showing there.
🥲

I always felt playing the game was forced, so I decided to make a small donation to skip it, but as you know, the prize was revoked.
I understand both sides. People are understandably upset about losing access, but it's also riskier for the site owners. They could have been more open about the risks and the possibility that content might not always be available but it's a complex topic with no easy answer.

Okay, that contradicts every single point of what you said in the announcement banner at the top of the page, but you did say “for now”.
At least you kept your word on that.

Furthermore:
I can understand the first statement about the AI, because I can see the reasoning behind it.

As for the second point regarding the coins, I don’t understand it, because, as I’ve already said and as has been shown in the past, this topic has caused lots of problems and will continue to do so in the future.
You've put a lot of time and effort into developing and implementing this, and it's not easy to just let it go, but when a project fails, it's better to walk away from it than to cling to it and waste even more time and effort trying to improve or revamp it.

And regarding your announcement:
Before there’s even more speculation about the measures you’re planning, what are your thoughts, and what should we expect?
