Iphones are expensive, but most people outside the US use Android. You can get a decent Android for under $100 that’ll emulate PS2 games and run every ren'py VN through Joiplay.
In a lot of third world countries, there are also huge secondhand phone markets. If you don’t mind some scratches or an older battery, it’s even cheaper.
Phones aren’t optional anymore. If you already need one for daily life, gaming on it is free. For most people, it makes more sense to game on the device they already own than to drop $350+ on a laptop and figure out power and internet for it.

Yea, I know iPhones are expensive. They're also pretty worthless, I'd never buy one. Again, my point is, with PPP you can get a laptop for a similar amount. I know of what I speak. There are secondhand laptop markets as well. Unless you're so poor that you can't afford necessities, you should have both. I have dual citizenship outside the US and know people of various socioeconomic status. They all have phones and most can afford a used laptop as well. You should get a laptop to use to make money anyway if you're that poor, it's easier than using a phone for all your business needs.

They do now, if they get approved in the first place (unlikely in this case, that pending tag will be there forever). Really devs need to go back to the old school way if they want to monetize and make what we actually want instead of the mountain of vanilla crap we already had too much of years ago. Make their own damned site and link it here with a crypto tip jar like what Ruykiru recently did (and his current AVN isn't even that taboo, just incest), or at least launder it first with a fake front project under a different dev name. I'm still waiting for the platforms to ban ALL porn given the current internet laws in existence where if it's not blocked in a show-your-ID state/country and they don't ask for ID to visit the site then they end up sued by that state AG. Maybe then what I mentioned before will be the new norm.

I actually had a Patreon for a version of The Fosters about college girls staying in your house. Only a demo was available, and a note that I was slowly working on it between other projects. Patreon subs had access to everything on my Discord, though. It gave a few people someplace other than SS to sub to me, but most of my subs were on SS for the real stuff.

well that sucks, i thought everyone knew that airports / border crossings between countries had very different rules.
especially coming back into a country like the USA, out of all the 3rd world countries on earth I'd never visit, it would have to be the USA!

Some devs do not care about the money, that's a huge factor. No platform, no money to follow, posted from behind a logless VPN = can pretty much make whatever you want even if it's outright illegal and no one can do much about it if they can't find out what your real life ID is. I'm waiting for decentralization to be more common and with more unmoderated sites too = post whatever you want.

That quickly terminated my interest for his new Project.
If i want to play a RPG Game then i simply boot up Fallout or even Skyrim but in porn Games i don't want to be bothered with freaking mini-games and features like these.

Yeah another dead loli AVN just because of stupid money. Basically said it will only come back after a rework = fuck that, I'm way past done supporting devs with no spine that bend a knee just for money. People rely way too much on stupid platforms. Basically just more Itch slop in this case. I really wish every platform and payment processor would hurry up and just ban all porn already to give devs and producers the en masse push needed to just make their own damned sites with crypto payments.

Yeah, then he listed the shit going with it. Incest is great, but in a bad/awkward Renpy "RPG" trying to be as good as an actual Unity or Unreal RPG and failing spectacularly = nope, hard pass even if the dev didn't have a wet noodle for a spine, which usually means at best it would have it in 0.1 and then removed in 0.2 after Itch complains = waste of time.

First version. The second version was altered in some parts and still got him reported.

Fun-fact don't make money off any of these grey area games on certain sites.

All that happens is you get shadow banned and lose access to your money.

Great game, but potential for an absolute shitton of different paths might sandbag this game faster than attempting to sprint through quicksand.
Does seem to have a great worldbuilding and a very open-to-player morality system, again, might just branch off too widely, but hopefully we'll see.
