Yea, I know iPhones are expensive. They're also pretty worthless, I'd never buy one. Again, my point is, with PPP you can get a laptop for a similar amount. I know of what I speak. There are secondhand laptop markets as well. Unless you're so poor that you can't afford necessities, you should have both. I have dual citizenship outside the US and know people of various socioeconomic status. They all have phones and most can afford a used laptop as well. You should get a laptop to use to make money anyway if you're that poor, it's easier than using a phone for all your business needs.Iphones are expensive, but most people outside the US use Android. You can get a decent Android for under $100 that’ll emulate PS2 games and run every ren'py VN through Joiplay.
In a lot of third world countries, there are also huge secondhand phone markets. If you don’t mind some scratches or an older battery, it’s even cheaper.
Phones aren’t optional anymore. If you already need one for daily life, gaming on it is free. For most people, it makes more sense to game on the device they already own than to drop $350+ on a laptop and figure out power and internet for it.
