Update is very, very far away. Next game is Dire Desires releasing to public in 6 days or so.
After it Broken Vows which is... well, a dummy game made to comply with fansly.

As side note, I kind of hope Seath drops the whole "dungeon crawling" mechanic.
The game has already lot going on. Shitload of characters that are hard to keep track of and more keep getting added.
Proceeded by mafia drama. Followed by the usual incestuous fucking.
I feel like adding another element that needs to be constantly worked on to be actually worth it takes away from development time.
I think of it this way - instead of the dungeon crawling part, you could have two or three more scenes with some of the girls instead. Which would be more appreciated in a visual novel than slooooowwwly hacking away at enemy health in an out of place maze so you can get a minor payout.
The puzzles before it were fun. Easy, fun. Could be part of the story. Didn't feel out of place.

He is not completely quitting, it seems like he will just work on his new game. Still a sad day, but I can't really say that I am surprised. These types of games are almost impossible to monetize right now. The moment he lost his SS it was kind of obvious that this would end up happening sooner or later.

As of today, all games are cancelled and no longer in development. Fansly has cancelled my account, and forfeited my money. For 30 days, I was not allowed to discuss or talk about this until they finished with compliance. Anyone who used Fansly, REPORT THEIR actions on the site because I am not aware of them refunding you, or me.
The only game that I will work on is the new one. And since I have no way to support myself for now, it will be a very slow going process.
I've given everything I've got. Site after site, troubles after troubles. Now, to protect this site, I will remove all other games from this discord.
This discord will be scrubbed, and no more games will be made in the Blackheart universe. I've lost everything, and with the current climate, I'm not sure how to continue. If you feel like supporting me, great. I will be releasing the new game, and ONLY the new game from here on out.
It's been a great 6 years, but it's come to an end. If anyone would like to support us going forward for the new game, I would love that greatly.
If you want to leave the discord now, go for it. I don't blame you, but I hope some of you will decide to stay, support me thru the Fanbox, and see what I can create. The new game is done, but with the Fansly being removed, I had no reasont o release. Anyone who supported me thru the Fansly, I will release the new game to you for free. the first line of the message literally says he cancelled all games and stopped all development, hopefully they come back after fixing their issue or at least donate their assets for someone else to continue their work, sadly, their strength was their writing and that cannot be donated...

also, weren't they a full team??? never went too deep in their enviroment, but in their 4th breaking scenes they show the whole team, did all of them quit or just Seath is gone?

In a way he is as he's rebranding under a different name and there will be no questionable content in the new game.
Similar to another developer who doesn't want to be named that went vanilla.

You really did fight to the bitter end. It's incredibly sad to see the games go like this.
However... I do feel like complete rebrand on Fanbox isn't going to solve much. Fanbox is notorious for their censorship and absolute dedication to censorship due to law complience. On top of that, they ban people if they deem that their created content is "too realistic" as well as they have same restrictions as patreon.
Wouldn't it be possible to try opening a new subscribestar under a new bank ID? Basically start from the scratch, obscure the game on discord and keep it veiled as much as possible so on surface, substar can't find much.
What substar cares about is on surface. Whatever you do beneath itdoesn't concern them.
I do truly wish Seath the best of luck but basically "starting out" as a new developer on fanbox in age of already established game devs and also rising AI is going to be rough. More so with a vanilla game.
In comparison to the fetish game scene which are hard to come by, thus give more incentive to support the creator.
No idea if Seath even watches this thread or communicates here. It's so hard to reach the man who doesn't talk on forums that are dedicated to his own games :/

Fuck! What a bummer, really. Seath was one of the few developers left at the cutting edge. It's a shame not to see how these new stories end. Also, if I remember correctly we were about to have a new update for The Lost Guardian, which right now was the game that interested me the most personally.
