discussion IP Blacklisted?

Today, I tried to load the site and was greeted with a red screen with a message saying:

403 Access Denied​

Your IP address has been permanently blacklisted due to repeated violations of our security policies. Access from this IP is no longer permitted.


I do not know what I've done to get blacklisted, as I've not received any notice that I was doing anything wrong. The only thing I can think of is that I recently got a new computer, and I had carried over a browser session from the old computer that had a bunch of tabs open from this site.

Is there any chance I can get my IP removed from the blacklist? I don't want to have to go to another device on a different IP connection every time I visit the site.

It could be that one of your Nord Reflections has high spam tendencies, and that IP was banned/blocked... The fact that you are online now indicates that you worked something out.. If you are still having problems Open a Tick for Support and it will be looked at from there..

Are you using TOR or a VPN? I found they have a large chance of being flagged for spam sadly

At the time, I hadn't yet set up my VPN, and I really only use it for sites that are blocked due to my state's local laws. I use TOR very infrequently.

Wait, are you posting this with a VPN now or you were blocked while using a VPN? I like to use 4chan sometimes (yeah i know, that place is a cesspool but i kinda like it) and got IP range banned for a time since some idiots there were abusing the site, maybe that happened too? i know if you use a VPN and that IP you got was flagged for doing something bad you can get blocked from stuff, but I'm not very good with this so maybe I'm wrong about all this

Nothing new I can access the site on my PC fine but my phone and tablet using Wifi was blocked.

That's what happens when a site using add-ons blacklists a range or IPs that change.

Someone either used that IP to do something before or you have been falsely banned.
