Not to restart a discussion about it but im 99% sure that Proud Father's dev got on their radar for real life stuff he did (tried to groom or/and stalk his neighbour's daughter if I remember right) and his game was only discovered after they seized his stuff/computers. The real OGs here would know more about it.

That's the cliffnotes version, though he supposedly also took pics of her for his personal spank bank. In short it was foolish to do that and make a loli AVN too and even more foolish to do it in Australia and also make nearly $400k a year from it, the tax man is going to notice that even without his extracurriculars since the bank(s) are legally required to report that activity if it's anything like the US system (it's why drug dealers and terrorists don't use banks, but arguably don't need to anyway as long as cash exists). Had he made it in the US the worst that happens is he gets harassed by Border Patrol when returning from overseas like happened with -13- (had he burned his passport LEA wouldn't be able to do much, other than perhaps waste their time with an obscenity case). The lazy way to deal with it is simply treat it as terrorism and defund it by putting pressure on PP's as an end-run-around the 1st Amendment, but this is exactly why crypto was invented, to keep gov't out of people's personal business.

I wonder how some people don't have a laptop these days, unless you literally live in a hut that can't draw enough power to charge it or something? A decent laptop is cheaper than a phone nowadays. I can find a laptop that plays most VNs for $350-$400, a decent phone is $300-$900. Even if you're in a poorer country, purchasing power parity still applies for the most part.

I don't get that either for the same reasons, Sure, you can't stick a laptop in your pocket but it can do so much more than what Android allows, not just AVNs. Unless I lived in a cave, the poles, or somewhere else with no sun at all they make around 2x3-foot 100w solar chargers that fold up to about the same size as a laptop these days so even no power grid is no excuse. Other than the value (or lack thereof) you already mentioned other gaming value really goes to shit. Phone (aside from leaked Android ports for AVNs) = stuck with Google Play, and just about every one of them on there sucks unless you don't mind spending hundreds a month getting microtransactioned to death, mindlessly watching ads more than actually playing the game, or doing both like a moron. It's like endlessly feeding quarters into arcade games brought back with a vengeance, but 100x worse. With the laptop even Steam is 100% unnecessary if you don't mind waiting a few months after release for it to be cracked and games are 100% free on torrent and other pirate sites. Hell even laptops can be used to make phone calls with VoIP apps so even that isn't an advantage.

Actually looking forward for more updates lots of introspective, the mc is kinda edgy but you kinda get it, story is pretty well written plus the CG and animations are pretty good and soulful

They do now, if they get approved in the first place (unlikely in this case, that pending tag will be there forever). Really devs need to go back to the old school way if they want to monetize and make what we actually want instead of the mountain of vanilla crap we already had too much of years ago. Make their own damned site and link it here with a crypto tip jar like what Ruykiru recently did (and his current AVN isn't even that taboo, just incest), or at least launder it first with a fake front project under a different dev name. I'm still waiting for the platforms to ban ALL porn given the current internet laws in existence where if it's not blocked in a show-your-ID state/country and they don't ask for ID to visit the site then they end up sued by that state AG. Maybe then what I mentioned before will be the new norm.

In my mind something like that was what I imagined funding for incest and taboo games to be but I'm not well educated on the running of financials over the net so I figured all options are considered already.
Tell me, why don't devs just release games through forums then ask for funding through buymecoffee or gofundme and give access to premium content through discords or forums/sites to members of a certain tier?

They do, and often those sites ban them too after some bitch snitches on them, particular;y the hateful prudes on Discord. As a rule of thumb if a site takes a credit card then they bend a knee to them and pretty much do what they want (like ban anything they tell them to) since they are all spineless yes-men if they are not Japanese (kudos to DLsite that simply told them to fuck off and dropped them as a payment option).

What I don't understand is why can't Devs make a game for those shitass sites but bring the loli content here to LC or A.T.Fall. There are a few devs that have two or more projects. Example: Let's say I make a game called Battleship. It doesn't have loli or shota or even incest. I start a subscribe channel for fans to follow me. I put the game on f'it95. I make money. People love me. However, I also make a game called Loli's R' Us and post it here. People like it and could go to my subscribe site and support me. But the other sites only have my Battleship game. Only the LC followers know bout my loli game and can support me if they want, but f'it95 still only knows about my "SAFE" game. I hope I explained that right. If I could code that is what i would do.
