discussion If you could create 1 power and gain it, with a few restrictions, what power would you create and than use it for?

You are allowed to create any power with a few restrictions
1. It can only be a single power. It can have multiple effects but must fit into a single power and make sense
2. It must have an equal or greater drawback, either you can think of one or you can have others think of one.
3. The power can not alter reality, time, or space unless you can make it work in such a way that it makes sense (Gravity control could hypothetically slow time)
Thats it. Im curious what everyone may come up with

The power to make people think they have an insect inside their ears. That would drive crazy anyone. Downside, you gotta have one yourself for real to cause this feeling.

Interesting choices. What drawbacks would you have? Plus powers like that need to have a reasonable explanation of how they might work, not perfect but kinda like the example i have with gravity slowing time

Very hard to kill. I’d have to be reduced to mincemeat not to recover. As long as even a chunk of me remains, I’ll regenerate.

Deadpool CAN die, he's done it a few times, just saying. Also his regeneration is kept in check by his cancer so if you cure his cancer he dies.

Who wouldn't want to be able to know answers to all of the great mysteries, like 'what ARE the secret herbs and spices and are they related to aliens'

Well yes but its more of a comic version plot armor cant die i meant. Like can he die hypothetically? yes. Will he actually in mainstream die? no. If that makes any sense. also doesnt help there are many different version of deadpool. One cant die cause hes been cursed to never be touched by death period.

Hmmm time travel... might lose your sense of reality or creation of paradoxes might be there. Being able to become Invisible... can't think of any...

Maybe time travel can be unable to actually change anything. you can go back and view history but you cant change anything no matter how much you want to. Invisibility can be you not only invisible but incorporeal. unseen and untouchable but you also cant interact with anything.

The power would be Teleportation, with the drawback of being that time passes as if you physically travelled there using the most effective route/vehicles. So Teleporting from California to New York would eat up 5 hours, but to you and anyone you teleport, it feels like you instantly travelled to your target destination.

You can phase through walls and other objects. However, while doing so, only the bottom of your feet can resist phasing. This means if you happen to lose balance while phasing, you may find yourself stuck upside down and underground.
