What this thread is for

This is the official monthly funding thread for LewdCorner.

Each month, I will use this thread to keep everyone updated on where funding is going, what needs attention, and what support helps cover. This is not about guilt tripping anyone or begging. It is simply a transparent way to show what keeps the site running and what goals are currently being worked toward.

If you use LewdCorner, enjoy the content, or want to help support future improvements, this is the place to do it.

This month, funding is being directed toward:

• Primary Goal: [python bots to restore images and post new games/updates]
• Secondary Goal: [media tab (need a bulky server storage though]
• Extra Improvements: [new userbars]

Why this matters

LewdCorner is not free to run behind the scenes. Servers, storage, development, fixes, and expansion all cost money. Donations help keep the site stable, improve the experience for everyone, and make larger upgrades possible without slowing everything to a crawl.

Every contribution helps, whether it is large or small.

Transparency

I want this thread to stay straightforward.

If funding goes toward a specific upgrade, fix, or project, I will say so. If the goal changes during the month, I will update the thread. If something gets completed because of community support, that will be noted here as well.

Good luck with those bots, I feel like setting exceptions for dead links might be a pain (in the case the site being duplicated has a bad link that gets removed here but the bot tries to reinstate it since it sees it elsewhere)

Any ETA of when the + section is getting fixed like the main dl page? Like most here I only use this site for the + AVNs (for vanilla there's Fuck95 or a dozen clones) and it kinda sucks not only having it stuck as a white page but we haven't been able to arrange it in order of latest update since the server crash. Next best is in order of latest reply, which just triggers one false alarm after another when I think It's an update and it mostly turns out it's just some reply saying "good game, can't wait for next update".

dream on, they are even worse than Visa/MC as no one can use those prudes to even buy condoms online without getting banned and losing any money they had in their accounts, forget porn site subs or support. I'm actually surprised any form of non-crypto option still works.

Yes, it's why people are morons if they still use them for anything. While they can link to bank accounts they are not a bank themselves and therefore not regulated as one, so are free to legally rip you off under the weakest of pretenses if they feel like it and you are foolish and keep a balance with them. A bank closes your account they are legally required to send you a check for whatever your balance was in the mail if not cash in person. Paypal has no such requirement and can simply choose keep your money when closing your account. It's why these days many banks are very hesitant to allow new Paypal customers to link their bank account to them and most are no longer automatic (you will have to clear it with the bank in person as well if they allow it at all when signing up with Paypal), as a lot of pissed off but misinformed people were blaming the bank for losing their money. Really for bigger customers it's best to get a merchant account if not simply use pegged crypto like USDC, PP is more meant for those that just want to send $20 to a buddy that won a bet or something, not an $80k business account.
