Suscribestar has already taken action against debanking. It has switched its direct payment system to one based on a digital currency. Instead of paying directly to support creators, you buy a virtual currency and then use that currency to support a content creator. Therefore, you are not violating any policies since you are only buying virtual currency, just as creators are not violating any policies when they exchange it for real money—because even if it were earned from 18+ content, what was generated was not real money, but a virtual currency that is later exchanged for real money.

Although Suscribestar stated that this was a measure to reduce the problems some people had in supporting creators’ content, ultimately we can surmise that it was to break free from the control of payment processors. Since the first problem has been around for many years now.

Paypal locks any account for any stupid reason they deem necessary.

Their support is abysmal as well trying to get your funds out of that account.

Anyway the FTC is a powerless organization nowadays.

Well glad they issued a warning at least.

IMO debanking anyone for anything short of provable or very probably criminal activity or intent to flee should be illegal. And just to be clear, I think most of the time that should have to come from a judge or 3-letter org actively engaged in an investigation in certain circumstances.
