Fractured Minds isn't bad imo it just leaves a lot to desire and is kinda all over the place in the beginning considering the unnecessary time skip. i understand having it so amanda can become a love interest for marshal but man do i wish we could've spent more time with kennedy and rachel before the time skip

I wonder if there is one person outside Seth who can keep track of all the relations.

Blackheart games have good stuff. Everytime I started a Blackheart I swore myself to read and understand everything.

But then the ongoing story ends for months or years, suddenly a new side story appears, 20 years after, 20 years before etc.

I start playing, again I lose the plot after a while.

Another spin off appears.

Rinse and repeat.

If only there was more structure but alas it will never happen sadly.

So lets not finish pa, but instead do a sequel before we finish the first ok WTF. I don't start reading a book series jumping chapter to chapter across 4 books then comeback and read whole. This is just stupid ass I used to like Blackheart games now I think I will just pass finish the damn first story. Then do a sequel or prequel.

Star Wars, one of the most well-regarded but maybe not well-written fantasy/sci fi worlds was released out of order. Some AAA game prequels are released after ones released before (Assassin's Creed Unity to Origins then further back to Odyssey) You can't really judge the quality of a story based on release dates

Damn. I love these games but he really needs to learn how to naturally progress a story. I feel like this is like the 4th or 5th time we've been time jumped just to progress things in one of his games. the beginnings are always great but there's always a weird jump forward either in game or by making a new game. I mean TG and PA not only did it in game randomly but now 2 games did it even worse by jumping years later by starting a new story.

Hell yeah a blackheart game!!!! I loved PA and I promised myself to read the others to understand a little bit of the plot but I got lazy lol. Would anyone be so kind to give me a recap of what happened at the end of PA I forgor, SPOILERS:

He always basically says "I'm getting bored of this story and just want to jump forward"
Like I understand it getting a little stale for him but sometimes he just needs to suck it up and wrap the current timeline up properly.
He even made a poll on his discord asking if he should keep PA on the current timeline or do a time skip forward, stay on the current timeline won by like 3x the votes, but he seemingly just ignored that and did the time skip anyway.

Yes but for some reason they edit both first release and latest update to the same date, same thing on 95 and it drives me nutz
