I've been noticing them pulling that shit more often now, and there's no accountability on their part. They're just too big to fail. I've been trying to avoid using them whenever possible, although sometimes the convenience and/or price makes it hard to pass up.

Same boat with avoiding them. Bought a TV through them and like MeatDagger it took 3 weeks longer then stated and the screen was busted when I got it. Then they wanted me to pay $150 shipping out of pocket to send it back and once they got it they promised to refund me the shipping and send a new one. Went full Karen on their asses and bitched enough that they finally sent out a new one and told me to keep the old one for parts lol. Never again though.

Unless there is absolutely no other option, sensitive/fragile purchases are definitely worth the extra hassle of dealing with personally rather than shipping.
