So to clear everything up properly, yes, the old Activity Coins will be coming back.

However, they are not returning in the exact same way as before.

The old Activity Coin system will mainly be tied to the older premium-style ranks such as Members+, Elite, Legend, MVP+, and similar ranks. Those old coins will not be used for the new ranks or for the new shop items moving forward.

The reason for this is simple: I am currently restructuring the shop, the economy, and the way coins are earned from things like threads, posts, likes, and general activity. I do not want to rush this and end up destroying the economy before it even has a chance to work properly.

A broken economy helps nobody. If this is handled badly now, it will just become another mess later, so I am taking the time to rebuild it the right way.

Old Activity Coins and the Casino

When the casino returns, it will use the old Activity Coin system only.

That means:

• Old Activity Coins will be the coins used in the casino
• New coins will not be used in the casino
• The old coin system will continue to serve its own purpose separately from the new economy

I also plan to add an option that allows users to convert new coins into old coins.

What I will not allow is the reverse.

There will be no old coin to new coin conversion, because that would immediately mess with the balance of the new economy and create the exact kind of inflation and abuse I am trying to avoid. The goal here is to preserve structure, not destroy it.

Community Feedback and Ideas

Now onto other business.

One of the biggest things I want right now is actual feedback from the community.

What do you all want to see added, improved, or brought to LewdCorner?

@Haywoodspartan and I are actively working on ways to improve the site and better help the community overall, and I want to hear what people actually want instead of blindly throwing random things at the wall.

That can include things such as:

• New sections
• New addons
• Quality of life improvements
• Better community features
• Better content organization
• Anything else you think would genuinely improve LC

If you have ideas, post them. This is the time to bring them up.

Game Images and Restoration Work

We are also slowly fixing broken images from games, but this is going to take time.

A lot of media was lost, damaged, or left broken during everything that happened, and restoring that kind of content is not something that gets solved instantly. It is being worked on, but it is going to be a gradual process.

So yes, it is being fixed.
No, it is not going to happen overnight.

LewdCord Progress

I am also working on LewdCord.

Right now it is around 60% complete, and once it is ready, it will be brought online for users. It is still in active development, but progress is being made.

Possible Media Section

Another idea I have been considering is creating a proper Media section using XenForo Media Gallery or something similar, so LewdCorner can have a more dedicated area for building and organizing media collections.

I think this could be a strong addition if it is done right.

The only reason I am not forcing that idea through immediately is because it has to make sense from a server storage standpoint. From what I understand, we have roughly around 8TB, but RAID and backup overhead takes a major cut out of usable space, so before that kind of feature is fully approved, it has to be discussed properly with Haywood so we know what is actually realistic.

The Goal for LewdCorner

At the end of the day, my goal is simple.

I want LewdCorner back to the level it was at in 2023 / 2024, but rebuilt with better systems, better structure, and better long-term planning.

That means keeping the spirit of old LC alive while improving it with things like:

• The Latest Updates page
• The Ideas page
• A better structured economy
• A stronger backend
• Better support and development from both Apollo and Haywood as sysadmins

The goal is not just to bring LewdCorner back.

The goal is to bring it back better, smarter, and in a way that actually lasts.

Makes sense but many of those with billions and mega millions of old coins are not going to be happy.

sucks but the old system was horrible and the eco needed a complete reset.

Don't doubt it given some of those insane coin amounts.

Only thing I care about is the ranks eared with all the grinding like I wrote in the past.

yeah no worries on that, the old coins can still buy the old rank, once it is all setup you can still earn old coins you just wont be able to buy newer ranks with them

I had around 2700 oac in the bank before it closed I was putting everything in there trying to reach the max and collecting interest daily

that page is not a latest updates page and i refuse to make it as such, i only designed it to be like the old LU back in the day but this is why the new latest updates page exists now.

cant restore old shop items new system, but if you had it before you still have it, as for going back to the old LU not going to happen, the lewdcord ive been working on for some time, i change my username yearly and im not not going to stop, customization options are being worked on.

Thanks, the only 2 other things I noticed in my 1 day of using the forum are:

Advance search does not support including and excluding tags. Perhaps it is just me being too dumb or it is not clear on mobile but I would love to be able to include a number of tags. And exclude few for that one search query.

The other one is allowing for more threads for none member+ to engage in. While I understand that there will be people who try and game the system as you pointed out. Allowing people to go from the lurker thread to a more niche threads could allow them to have longer discussions with people who are interested in said niche or topic. That and mime thread is still under m+ IIRC

i am manually restoring users coins that tell me how they lost, and the new ranks will have benefits and unlock stuff.

Can we clear some things up?

Will the old ranks actually do anything going forward? The old ranks were tied to permissions on the site, level 1, 2, 3, +, etc etc all were tied to an area on the forum. Will those ranks still continue to have a use in the future?

Will the "new" coins lead to "new" ranks and permissions on the forums? Other areas gated behind essentially paying for coins?

Will the "New" rank areas and the "old" rank areas be separate? Or if you have the rank in the old coin will that let you into the new area?


If they are to remain separate and you need "new" coin to access, will any compensation be given at all for people who have been here grinding for literal years? Frankly don't have the time or energy to do that all over again. And honestly is kind of a dick move to just invalidate all the subs and members who have been here for years.
