yes, there were also no food sold in gas stations either, nothing. because they knew everything was contaminated with toxic lead

Not just boomers. Gen X too and millennials. It was in when I was a kid - in fact it wasn't banned until 1996 (though I don't remember seeing it past maybe 10 years before that where I live.)

From what i saw it was less of an update issue and more of a software corruption on the physical server. A key file went missing/corrupted wich recquired a rollback

Had to either be 1984 or Brave New World.

Lots of houses still have them. If they're older, even if painted over the old lead paint is still below. Any house before the late 1970s. That goes for asbestos, too.
