I'd be surprised about that. Most electronic games outside of real casinos (and maybe gambling sites where you bet real money) reset the cards, often after each hand. Casinos generally go through a deck until it's almost out and then switch to a fresh one. If all 4 aces are dealt in the first hand or two, you won't see an ace for a while. Any electronic blackjack that I've played could deal you a card for one hand and give it to you again in the next hand (though it is rare). You're able to count cards in a real casino, but not often in electronic ones.

I should have specified that I was referring to the part about the odds being the same as at a casino. I do agree that they just had bad RNG, though.

Since I keep seeing posts like “the bank is gone” or “the shops are gone”, relax. Nothing’s been deleted. It’s on me, and it’s getting fixed. I just need to finish (and improve) two other things first, then I’m jumping right back on it.

Also, I’m going to use this thread as patch notes going forward so you can see what’s actually changing instead of relying on rumors.

What’s been going on (and why LU has been weird)
For the last 2 to 3 days I’ve been fighting like hell to inject a button (via JS) into specific sections that will eventually be used as the “Latest Updates” push button. Basically a way to flag games as recently updated so they show correctly on the Latest Updates page.

That battle is exactly why LU has been a little fucky lately.

Right now the button is showing, but I’m still working on getting it to actually trigger/push an update when clicked. It’s not “done” yet, but it’s moving in the right direction and it will work.

Donations / payments overhaul (WIP)
I’m revamping donations/payments (call it whatever you want) so card payments are automatic instead of manual/half-manual weirdness. Crypto is next. I’ll make that automatic too once I get the flow figured out.

The big reason I’m doing this is because it’ll let the goal bar increase automatically without me having to babysit it.

Important note, this is still untested and currently a W.I.P experiment, so don’t expect it to be perfect immediately.

Roadmap page is coming
I’m also making a Roadmap page/URL for LewdCorner updates so you can see what’s planned, what’s in progress, and what’s finished.

I’m going to try and connect it to the Ideas page too, so when I approve an idea, it can actually show up on the roadmap instead of everything being a mystery like it was during the credits system mess.

Discord situation
If Discord ends up forcing some “everyone must verify their identity” type of nonsense, I’m not playing that game.

If it comes to that, I’ll just build a custom IRC-style chat for LewdCorner. It’ll be its own page, not a widget shoved into LC.

Also, LewdCorner turns 5 years old on May 1st.

Honestly, I’m surprised we even made it this far. After the first (or second) database nuke I figured I would’ve thrown in the towel, but we’re still here.

Server renewal funding
Boring but important, we’re currently around 65% funded for server renewal.

If you’re able, consider donating to keep the community going. And don’t worry, even while I’m rebuilding the automatic stuff, the donation page you see now won’t be interrupted.

The discord id thing is going to happen i also just posted about a new rule being tossed around on the floor were a new OS install needs age verification. The people in power have 0 fucking clue what there doing (assuming they care about anyone outside the .5%) .

May I suggest discord alternatives such as, Stoat chat (closest to looking like discord), zulip, signal, telegram

You don't need to build a new thing every time dude, There are self-host options for these as well if you are worried about censorship.

Other open-source alternatives are cropping up for replacing discord that offer self hosting options such as Fluxer or Stoat, those are options you could look at rather than building something new.
