discussion Unlocked gallery from the beginning.

My preference is to have one first off. A lot of games don't. And when there is one, I prefer to earn it during the story. I always use it as a checklist to make sure I didn't miss anything, so having some hints as to what unlocks a particular scene is nice.

It should definitely be locked by default, but having the option to unlock it is nice. Options are always good, freedom and all. Yeah, America!!!

Same. Having all unlock makes me just watch and not playing the game.
I prefer earning it, having hints on 2nd playthrough (not before).
I am kind of lazy I guess. "Suspens" is a good way to keep me on.

Pref it locked, with Hints on how to unlock them.
This way you have a good clear indication of routes/scenes you have yet to progress though.

Unlocked right away is always a fun option.
Cause like maybe I just wanna take a peek for the day and not play through a bunch of content. I can come back later in that case.

Earn it, but it really depends. If the gallery spans to over 80+ different images and animations then sure, if it's an option.

earn it. i'm very susceptible to being motivated to find the pics im missing and kinda losing interest if everything's unlocked already. nothing against those who go for the unlock though

Having the option is ok, it will work for ayone because if you like the grind and unlocking every aspect of the game you just won't use it (hidden by default, so if you want to play something) but if you are a person that is not really getting hooked by the game or want to check first the animations (maybe this is a thing?) it's not too bad having it there since the start, I've had situations where I got bored of the loop of certain games and having the option to see all scenes would be nice.

I like to earn my gallery. Collecting every scene feels like playing Pokemon, gotta get 'em all. But bonus points if the gallery has something like a sneak peak of the scenes.
