Side girls are okay as long as they're recurring characters.

This is standard practice for many developers. They just need to show the "product" right away to keep the player engaged. Can't judge them. It's just that not everyone can properly lead the plot to such scene

i often treat the main girls as a goal if you make me wait for them the better that's when the side girls are good for keeping your attention

If it seems like it adds something to the plot/story, then it's fine. If it's just sex to have a sex scene, then no. A good dev will give you the option to opt out with no penalty.

Just a stepping stone to the main characters and gives a taste on what to expect.

i like it better when the side girl is more of an optional path if you want to see an early sex scene or at least those rare cases where that same side chick show up again later in the game and can be fuck again if the player want.

Personally, I'm fine with it. An earlier poster used the metaphor 'stepping stone' - which feels about right. The early version game reviews would be poor if no H scenes were available during the gradual path to incest fun.

Oh boy I don't have any games in mind, it's more sexstories/literotica stuff. One of a guy becoming a pornstar, and having a girlfriend that is bi, and she persuades his sister.

Another is where his sister has a girlfriend, and she (the girlfriend) becomes his girlfriend, and then for study they hire/buy an apartment for all 3.

There are a few good stories, but damn I read so many, I couldn't name them anymore...

It's fine if she isn't a one and done deleted from the game. If they are something like the friend of or maybe the lonely shopkeeper you can keep having fun with it helps keep interest while the story builds up.
